Ontario rejects license bid for IWI’s Bonfield sawmill

Ontario’s forests ministry says it is not proceeding with issuing a forest resource processing facility licence to Bonfield Forest Products, a proposed sawmill from International Wood Industries (IWI).

IWI brought forward plans in 2017 for the $145-million sawmill in Bonfield, Ont., east of North Bay.
