Optimism in U.S. housing market
July 5, 2016 – Home construction in the United States dipped last month, but analysts predict demand for single-family homes will drive growth in the long-run.

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index climbed two points in June, to 60. This indicates increasing builder confidence in spite of recent economic worries, including the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union.
After a spike in April, new homes sales have returned to trend and builders are reportedly matching the addition of new inventory to the pace of sales.
