OptiSaw 2020 is going virtual!

September 10, 2020  By  Ellen Cools

Due to COVID-19, OptiSaw 2020 will no longer be taking place in-person in Quebec City. Instead, the event will be entirely online, featuring both live and on-demand sessions!

During the height of the pandemic this spring, sawmills across the country took downtime due to weak lumber markets. Now that the world has largely reopened, demand for lumber is high, but sawmills also face higher operating costs in order to keep their employees safe and healthy. This means it’s more important than ever to optimize operations and stay up-to-date on the latest technology.

That’s why Canadian Forest Industries and Opérations forestières have partnered with industry experts to present this time-effective and affordable learning opportunity for those driving the future of sawmilling operations. The live portion of the OptiSaw 2020 Virtual Summit will take place on Oct. 14, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. EST.  On-demand sessions will be available for registrants to watch at any time. In just a few short hours, attendees will come away with solutions to boost their mill profits now!

This year, registration is FREE, so don’t miss out!
