Panel discusses SCC ruling

July 10, 2014, Prince George - A panel of aboriginal leaders gathered to discuss the implications of the Supreme Court ruling on aboriginal land title. The leaders told attendees that the public is still welcome on their land but those who want to cut down trees, dig up minerals, lay a pipeline or build a subdivision on their land must keep approval from the First Nations community that holds title over the land.
