Resolute sues Rainforest over audit

May 21, 2014 - Resolute Forest Products is taking action against Rainforest Alliance for recommending the company's FSC certificate be suspended. Rainforest's audit examined Resolute's logging practices in Northern Ontario and claimed the company is not complying with good environmental standards. 

Resolute told the CBC that the audit is riddled with errors, omissions and biased interpretations. The company won a court injunction that would prevent the audit from being released to the public this month.
