San Group to build new sawmill in Port Alberni

Oct. 25, 2018 - Langley, B.C.-based San Group has announced its intentions to build a new $70-million small log sawmill in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island.
The company, which owns Coulson Manufacturing in Port Alberni, has purchased a 25-acre that neighbours Catalyst Paper. San Group San Group chief executive Kamal Sanghera told the Times Colonist they aim to sell to the local lumber market.
