Scholarship for future operators
Simformotion announced a $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student with an interest in pursuing a career in heavy equipment operation, construction management, mining engineering or any heavy equipment-related program, including forestry.

Students enrolled in an accredited heavy equipment-related program at an institution that utilizes Cat Simulators as part of their training program, with a minimum GPA of 2.75, are eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship is open to students anywhere in the world meeting the criteria for the 2013-2014 school year.
“Cat Simulators are an important part of heavy equipment training programs because virtual construction and mining environments provide a safe place to learn actual controls and machine applications without worry of a mishap. Students can make mistakes and practice as many times as needed to master techniques,” said Simformotion President Ken Pflederer.

Cat Simulators are available in models for the Hydraulic Excavator, Off-Highway and Mining Trucks, M-Series Motor Grader, Small and Large Wheel Loaders,Wheel Tractor-Scraper and Track Type Tractor, Large Track Type Tractor and FM Log Loader.
