Simonds-Armstrong unveils new Shape-Up Pro

The new “Shape-Up Pro” from Armstrong establishes precision wheel shape from the VariDesign profile for accurate and repeatable tooth shape and consistency.
It is designed to accommodate wheel thicknesses from 3/8 inches to 1 1/4 inches and wheel diameters from 12 inches to eight inches with precision movement on a linear rail and bearings for extreme accuracy and wheel truing.
A PCD dresser disc is incorporated with a smooth edge for longer life, or a toothed edge that helps open the wheel during shaping.
The ability to continually duplicate wheel shape from filer to filer reduces grind in laps, reducing saw and sharpening wheel usage. The unique precision cam template will duplicate almost any wheel shape every time.
