Sunshine Coast logging protests intensify
Sept. 20, 2016 - A group protesting the logging of a 18-hectare section of the Sunshine Coast set fire to a blockade across the access road to the logging site.

Members of the protest group, Elphinstone Logging Focus, have been camping in the woods near the site this summer. Peninsula Logging won the rights to log the area in a B.C. Timber Sales auction earlier this year.
