Teal Cedar files counterclaim against Fairy Creek protesters

Teal Cedar has filed a notice of civil claim in the BC Supreme Court against a group of protesters involved in ongoing disruptions to its Vancouver Island harvesting and silviculture operations.

According to Business in Vancouver, the company has named 10 defendants and is seeking unspecified damages for the “highly-organized campaign of illegal blockades, carried out by hundreds of largely unknown persons, many of whom operate under the name the Rainforest Flying Squad.”
