Teen killed at Tolko Lavington
June 16, 2013 - In news that should make us question student safety again this summer, a teen was killed at a BC mill before even graduating high school.

According to a CBC report,the teenager was killed in an accident at a Tolko planer mill in Lavington, BC, east of Vernon.
Rob Fraser, general manager at Tolko’s Southern Interior division, said the accident happened around 2 a.m. PT on Saturday. “An employee became entangled in a piece of equipment, a conveyor, and subsequently died as a result of his injuries,” Fraser said. Read the full report here.
