Timmins sawmill to continue operations after fire Monday

A fire that damaged a section of the planer mill at EACOM’s Timmins sawmill in Northern Ontario is not expected to cause serious disruptions to the mill’s production.

EACOM’s director of communications Jean Brodeur told The Daily Press the fires was in the roof and avoided most of the mill’s machinery.

Employees were expected back at the mill today.
