U.S. housing starts down 17 per cent
March 23, 2015 - Housing starts in the U.S. experienced a 17-per-cent decline in February, according to a recent report by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

According to report, housing starts in the U.S. fell to a seasonally adjusted rate of 897,000 units, with single-family dwellings down 14.9 per cent to 593,000 units; and multi-family starts down 20.8 per cent to 304,000 units.
The declines were experienced in all regions of the U.S.
