Scierie St-Elzear in St-Elzear-de-Bonaventure, Que., is investing in USNR’s Wastewood Chipper and Super Chip Screen. This equipment is scheduled to be installed June 2021.

USNR‘s Wastewood Chipper is proven to produce consistently uniform chips from logs and wastewood slabs without the need for a special installation layout. The Wastewood Chipper is available in four sizes and three configurations to meet your specific wastewood processing needs. It is equipped with a very short spout. Its large “J”-shaped opening is typically fed by a vibrating conveyor that provides automatic self-feeding even through the most difficult surges. Each model accommodates bottom, rear, and top discharge for maximum flexibility.

The Super Chip Screen offers excellent performance and reliable operation, easily integrating with other equipment in your mill. It requires minimal maintenance, and with up to 50 per cent faster rotary speed it delivers better material agitation. That means you get improved separation, especially for small chips.
