VAB sells two new planer optimizers
VAB Solutions announced it has recently sold two new planer optimizers, one in Ontario and the other in New Brunswick.

According to Jean Bérubé, president of VAB, the first contract covers the sale and installation of a complete optimized grading system for Eacom Timber Corporation random length planer mill at Nairn Centre, Ont. This is in addition to the VAB optimized grader added to the plant’s stud line in 2010.
The second contract includes the sale and installation of a complete optimized grader line in Fornebu’s planer mill near Bathurst, N.B. (for more, click here). This new turnkey contract includes optimization, automation and all mechanics.
“The new equipment will enable our two business partners to significantly increase their productivity and product quality,” said Marc Voyer Vice President and General Manager at VAB Solutions Inc.
