
The board of the Valemount Community Forest (also known as the Valemount Industrial Park) have purchased a mill, which had closed in 2018.
If the board is successful in getting the mill up and running, there will be up to eight new jobs in Valemount, B.C., a town of 1,000, reports The Rocky Mountain Goat.
The company aims to create specialty products that are not being manufactured by many multinational companies.
