At WorkSafeBC, International Women’s Day on March 8 is an opportunity to celebrate all the women who have contributed to making a difference in workplaces across B.C.

We know the incredible value women add to the forest industry and to the overall field of occupational health and safety. The unique perspectives and skill sets women bring to the workplace can help foster collaborative, creative, and innovative approaches to helping workers return home safe every day.

We also recognize that creating safe and healthy workplaces relies on having a workforce with a rich variety of skills, knowledge, backgrounds, abilities, and experiences that reflect the diversity of B.C.’s communities.

We’re proud to be a sponsor of this important event and look forward to continuing to partner with the forest industry as it becomes more equitable, diverse, and inclusive for women.
