Welcome to Dust Safety Week 2020!
By Ellen Cools
Dust Safety Week 2020 is here! Over the next five days, Canadian Biomass and Canadian Forest Industries will be focused on best practices, technical information and solutions for keeping pellet and sawmill operations safe.
We have more content than ever before for this week from a range of partners, including WorkSafeBC, WPAC’s Safety Committee, DustEx Research’s Chris Cloney, and more! We’ll also be hosting a webinar on June 25 at 1:00 p.m. EST, called, “Demystifying the Dust Hazard Analysis,” presented by VETS Sheet Metal’s Francis Petit. Register now to learn all about what is required for a dust hazard analysis, hear exciting case studies, and more!
The Dust Safety Week landing page, hosted on Canadian Biomass, is the place for pellet plant operators and sawmillers to learn best practices and find the latest information on dust safety. You can reference content on our landing page year-round.
Find the landing page here, and enjoy Dust Safety Week!
Dust Safety Week 2020 is generously sponsored by WorkSafeBC, VETS Sheet Metal, Fike and Biomass Engineering & Equipment.
