Wildfire destroys most of Lytton, BC

A wildfire near Lytton, B.C., in the Fraser Canyon area, forced the sudden evacuation of the town on Wednesday, June 30.

According to CBC News, the wildfire destroyed most homes and structures in the village, along with the local ambulance station and RCMP detachment. Authorities are now trying to track down all evacuees from the town.

As of Thursday, July 1, the wildfire had grown to 64 square kilometres.
