Canfor Pulp sells Taylor BCTMP mill for $7M

Canfor Pulp Products has announced that it is selling its Taylor bleached chemi-thermo-mechanical pulp (BCTMP) mill for $7 million to an undisclosed buyer.

“I am very pleased we have reached an agreement to sell our assets in Taylor, B.C., to a new owner that is committed to repurposing the site and developing a long-term plan which will benefit the community,” said Kevin Edgson, president and CEO, Canfor Pulp.

In a statement, the company said it will share further details upon completion of the sale, which is expected within the first quarter.
