Forests Ontario’s annual conference to advocate for healthy, sustainable forests

Forests Ontario’s annual conference, the largest forest sector conference in Ontario, will take place on Feb. 14 in Alliston, Ont. The theme of “We the Forest” will delve into how individuals and organizations can speak on behalf of forests and collaborate for their long-term health.

Forests Ontario’s conference will bring together landowners, educators, forest sector professionals, Indigenous leaders, municipal representatives, and students.

The conference will feature local exhibitors, a charity auction, and an awards ceremony recognizing important contributors to forestry.

WHO: Some of the most prominent and compelling voices in the forestry and forest products sector, including:

• Rob Keen, CEO of Forests Ontario and Forest Recovery Canada
• Carol Phillips, partner at Moriyama and Teshima Architects, fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, member of the Markham and TCHC Design Review Panels.
