October conference on silviculture

Sept 3, 2013, Edmundston - Canadian Woodlands Forum is teaming up with the Northern Hardwoods Research Institute to host a two-day conference called "Financially Feasible Hardwood Silviculture: Sustaining a Competitive Hardwood Value Chain," in Edmundston, New Brunswick. The program includes 24 speakers on various silvicultural topics including managing the hardwood resource and the future of the labour force in the forestry sector. The conference will be held on October 1-2, 2013.
