Precise Boom Movements | Intelligent Boom Control | John Deere Forestry
Intelligent Boom Control (IBC) is an optional feature currently available on John Deere 803MH, 853MH, 859MH, 959MH, and 953MH Tracked Harvesters. With IBC, operators no longer need to control each independent boom function separately – just control the attachment position, and IBC guides the boom and cylinders accordingly. IBC also controls the harvester swing functionality, improving the precision of attachment positioning, especially at extended reaches. Joystick movements deliver consistent, smooth, functional speed, no matter how far the boom is extended.
