Comact to relocate

Jan. 28, 2014, Boisbriand, Que. - Comact, a subsidiary of the BID Group of Companies, is relocating its Southern USA office from Hot Springs, Arkansas to the company's new facilities in St. George, South Carolina. This move is going to take effect on February 24, 2014 and allow Comact to remain a leader in its field by concentrating its activities in St. George and thereby streamlining its operations. Doing so will contribute to improving leadtime and delivery of its products while maintaining the professionalism the company is renowned for.

Comact's mobile team, which is currently based in Hot Springs, AR, is going to remain part of the company and continue to serve clients in the area. Rick Noffsinger who has 18 years' experience under his belt in the sawmill business and in customer service will be joining the team at the St. George plant.

"This move is an important part of our long-term, strategic planning and is bound to strengthen our presence in the Southern USA." Orders have already been shipped and clients are benefiting from the decrease in time-to-market and other related costs as products that would otherwise be shipped from one of Comact's Canadian locations are now manufactured in the USA.

Clients and partners should take note of the company's new contact information. As of February 24, 2014, Comact's Southern USA office is going to be located at 176, Academy Road in St. George, South Carolina, 29477. The phone number will be 843-563-7070 and the fax number, 843-563-7452. Website and email addresses will remain the same.
