Resolute’s $17M upgrade underway at Thunder Bay sawmill

A ground-breaking ceremony last week launched the beginning of a $17-million modernization project at Resolute Forest Products Thunder Bay sawmill located on Fort William First Nation land in northern Ontario.

The project will create 30 new jobs and increase the mill’s capacity by as much as 40 million board feet, the Chronicle-Journal  reports.
