Since Dust Safety Week began in 2016, it has grown into a well-known event with participation from organizations and companies across Canada. Now in its fourth year, our Dust Safety Week coverage is the hub for pellet plants and sawmills across the country to learn best practices and find the latest information to keep their operations and operators safe.

New this year
This year, we’re adding a new element to Dust Safety Week – a FREE one-hour webinar happening June 25 at 1:00 p.m. EST, called “Demystifying the Dust Hazard Analysis.” VETS Sheet Metal’s Francis Petit will present on what needs to be included in a Dust Hazard Analysis (DHA) as required by NFPA 652 (Standard on the Fundamentals of Combustible Dust), why it’s important, how to apply it to your facility and manage it, and more. He’ll also be sharing case studies and answering attendees’ questions.
