Norbord, Tolko suspend production as wildfire nears High Level

Norbord and Tolko have both suspended production at their operations in High Level, Alta., due to a wildfire burning out of control nearby.
The town of High Level was put under a mandatory evacuation order yesterday, and all residents were evacuated as of 10 p.m.
Norbord reports that all non-essential mill employees were safely evacuated and no injuries have been reported. The mill was secure at the time of evacuation.
According to a Facebook post from the town this morning, there is no immediate threat to the community.
