Ontario’s Waterloo Regional Police are searching for individuals connected with an alleged fraud involving lumber purchases conducted between October and December of 2021.

Police said the suspects obtained  lumber and building materials using fraudulently obtained credit accounts.

In one case, the suspect impersonated a lumber store manager and sold the lumber for cash using Kijiji, an online buy-and-sell website.

The suspects are unknown at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
