Today, let’s get to know Bria Young, HR coordinator at Gorman Group in West Kelowna, B.C.

At 32, one of Bria’s notable achievements is her leadership in developing a comprehensive COVID safety program. Her efforts in ensuring the well-being of employees and business continuity during the challenging time exemplify her dedication to the welfare of her colleagues and the company.

With a degree in human resources and a chartered professionals in human resources designation, her strong HR competencies are evident in her contributions to the company’s mental health enhancement initiative and the HR information system project, where she has showcased her strategic thinking and attention to detail

Bria’s involvement in industry associations showcases her passion for the betterment of the field. She actively participates in a national forestry products industry diversity, equity, and inclusion association, which Murray describes as having an impact in Gorman Group’s success.
