WFP announces new appointments to board of directors

August 5, 2015 - Western Forest Products Inc. announced the appointment of Jane Bird to its board of directors and the appointment of current director Daniel Nocente as independent lead director.
Bird has held the position of CEO at Columbia Power Corporation and at Canada Line Rapid Transit Inc. She was most recently responsible for the Canada House Renewal Project in London, U.K., as an attaché with Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Development. Bird currently serves on the board of directors of Global Container Terminals Inc., BC Ferry Services Inc., and IBI Group Inc.

Bird brings to her board position nearly 30 years of experience in executive-level legal, financial and operating positions for organizations in North America and Europe.
Nocente has been a director of Western Forest Products since 2014.
