Western Forest Products temporarily shuts Port Alberni sawmill

Western Forest Products has temporarily shut down its sawmill in Port Alberni, B.C., putting more than 100 forestry employees out of work, reported the Nanaimo News Bulletin.

The planned curtailment is set to last until the spring due to a lack of wood fibre.
